             VACATION  ROMANCE
I went away for summer vacation and met this guy. We got to know each other during the week, but the last day was most memorable. We walked on the beach, laughed, flirted, and sat on the porch until the middle of the night. When I had to go, he walked me home, and kissed me on the cheek. We exchanged e-mail addresses and keep in touch online, but he lives 5 hours from me. I've never meant a guy like him before, I've never liked a guy this much before. I think about him all the time. What should I do?

Take a moment to savor your -Vacation romance- it's yours forever to swoon over. Five hours is a pretty long way to go to hang out after school. It's fine, its great that you keep in touch, but don't let your computer screen become the center of your life, you'll miss out on the real world. So go ahead e-mail, write him, call him, once in a while, But also don't forget about your friends. Summers here get out and enjoy it before you have school books in your hand. I'm not saying your feelings for each other aren't deep. Sometimes true love can defy distance. But pining your self away in a room on the computer wont help your life right now.

Talk back: your advice
I'm 14, and I feel like boys don't even notice me. I think the main reason is I wear glasses. I feel like all the other girls are prettier them me. How can I get them to know that Im alive?

"I use to be extremely shy and barely talked to anyone, witch is why people didn't talk to me. If start to think of your self as funny smart and outgoing (witch Im sure you are), soon others will to."
                                                                                 -JR, 17

"I use to wear glasses, but then I got contacts. Now most of my friends guys included say I look good in glasses, too. So keep your head up high."
                                                                                -Amanda, 13

"Glasses aren't a reason for you to be insecure! You are what you are and you shouldn't change anything to get more attention from guys!"
                                                                               -Charlotte, 15

"Your still young, you'll meet a special guy that will like you for who you are glasses and everything. All those guys are missing out on someone like you, keep you confidence up and Im sure mr.right will come a long."
